With a natural affinity for wood and music John found his trade primarily as a finish carpenter who also lives to sing, play and write songs on his Fender,Gibson, and Taylor guitars. Living in the Central Pa. area since 1981, his
musical projects include Chicken, JP Rocks, Johnny and the Jackhammers, Cliff Turner and The Afterburners, and The John Phelps Band. Prior to 81 lived in Bucks County performing at the BUCKS COUNTY PLAYHOUSE www.buckscountyplayhouse.com , worked with an off broadway play in New York City, and performed at the Troubadour Club spending shy of a year in Hollywood Ca.
Settling in central Pa. to meet his wife Roxanna where they have raised 4 kids , built there own home, restoring fixer upper properties and recording his 3 original music CD's at Audible Images recording studio. www.audibleimagesrecording.com
